United and Jose eventually got the revenge beating Chelsea 2-0 at Old Trafford after another Jose Masterclass . Herrera had the job to man mark Eden Hazard which was the key to victory last season and Herrera will have a similar job at Stamford Bridge on Sunday !

Manchester United 2 : Benfica 0 ! Sloppy Win at Old Trafford .

                         Jose Mourinho's Manchester United all but secured a place in last 16 of the UEFA Champions League after a hard earned victory over Benfica . The portugese side have 0 points from the 4 games while Red Devils sit pretty on top of group A with 100% record.

                         Benfica's Mile Svilar brillaintly saved a Anthony Martial penalty before conceding an unlucky own goal just before half time after david de gea was forced into a couple of good saves from the Benfica attacking line . Benfica looked good in attack while United were sloppy defensively with Martial the only livewire in a lackluster first half.

                          Second half started positively for benfica but the game was sealed by Daley Blind on the 78th minute with a calmly taken penalty after a foul on Rashford . Lukaku's search for goal continued and he will be hoping to break the duck against Chelsea at the weekend.
