Marouane Fellaini : Doubted by fans , Loved by Managers .

Marouane Fellaini has been at the center of debate recently within Manchester United fans.His poor cameo against his former club Everton didn't help either as he conceded the penalty which resulted in another draw for Mourinho's men.Mourinho' decision to prefer Fellaini ahead of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schnederlin have been questioned by fans and pundits alike.Paul Scholes and Jamie Carragher agreed on Fellaini being 'Not Man Utd Quality' .

Fellaini was signed for Man Utd by David Moyes for 27.5 million pounds

 After signing from Everton on the deadline day , The belgian struggled to hold on to a starting XI place in an already poor midfield.But after the sacking of 'The Choosen One',Giggs was incharge on interim basis and had a great relationship with Fellaini.

Fellaini had a fruitful spell under LVG

 The job of managing arguebly the biggest club in the world was than given in the hands of the dutchman , Louis Van Gaal. Ryan Giggs was his assistant and it all looked positive for the Red Devils again.Fellaini played his best football for United under LVG. He was developing as a crucial player for the Reds especially in Big games against rivals.The games like the one versus Tottenham at Old Trafford showed what he was all about , height , strength and above all a physical presence in both the boxes. Ryan Giggs said in an interview as well that Fellaini always does the job that he has been gives, That might be blocking shots , defensive or offensive, he does a job for the team ! But things took a turn and United were miserable in LVG's second season resulting in the sacking of the Dutchman and appointment of Jose Mourinho !

   The Portugese manager signed Paul Pogba for a world record fee and initally played Fellaini along with Pogba in the midfield, In the big games like vs Liverpool and Chelsea , he played a prominent role . Against Everton though it all fell off and the criticism has been way too harsh since.

   Marouane Fellaini has by far more haters than fans , but doing a job for the manager and staying at one of the biggest clubs in the world fighting through all this criticism and completing 100 appearances is commandable . He might never be fan favourite ever again but Jose would not care unless he gets 100% from the big belgian on the field.
